The Subaru Outback is a tallish wagon that was based on the all-wheel drive Legacy sedan when it was introduced in 1994. Back then, it actually looked like a station wagon. Now it has a higher-riding crossover sort of feel. It’s built on Subaru’s new Global Platform and comes in Base, Premium, Limited, Touring, Onyx Edition XT, Limited XT and Touring XT models. The XT models get a turbocharged engine.
