For as much as we love motorsports in the States, rally racing has never managed to capture the same attention it receives across the pond. While enthusiasts love to reminisce about the Group B era, little attention is given to racers actively pounding around the forests of the U.S.A. The American Rally Association is taking new steps to change that level of interest for the 2025 season, which centers around assistance from Vermont SportsCar founder Lance Smith’s new company RallyForward. Smith sat down with Road & Track to discuss the changes coming to the sport as part of the new promotional deal.
