Travis Pastrana is one of the world’s greatest stunt drivers, with an illustrious rally career and a penchant for pulling off stunts that makes him one of the few drivers in the world who are able to pull of the moves that he can behind the wheel of any car. His latest car made for impressive stunts and tricks is a collaboration with Subaru Motorsports, the “Family Huckster,” which is based on the Subaru GL… Read More →

Not so long ago, resto-mods were almost exclusively reserved for big dollar classics and vintage supercars. But exclusivity no more, just in the last couple of years we’ve seen the JDM space sprout a few of its own resto-mods; the Built By Legends GTR’s and TOM’s Supra just to name a few. The Impreza has retained a strong following thanks to its WRX and STi variants, and several versions of the Legacy are revered by JDM enthusiasts. Subaru wasn’t all about its rally cars and sporty sedans and wagons back in the ’90s, though. Early on… Read More →

The engine offered 148 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, which kicked in at 1,800 rpm. Even more impressive was the estimated fuel economy of 49 highway miles per gallon. The automaker planned to release this option in the U.S. around 2010, but by 2016, not only had Americans failed… Read More →

Growing up watching superstar drivers like Colin McRae and Ken Block piloting Subarus like bats out of hell, my fondness for the Subaru brand–and, more specifically, the legendary WRX–was formed at a young age. In high school, I once submitted a poetry assignment that detailed the romantic joy of sliding a Subaru around in the snow before I had even earned my driver’s license. When I eventually was old enough to drive, my first car… Read More →

randon Semenuk claimed a fourth 100 Acre Wood Rally win in a row to continue his unbeaten start to 2025, despite an early throttle issue, while Ryan Booth stole third place and the RC2 class win from Patrick Gruszka on a dramatic final stage. But perhaps the star of the rally was Swede Calle Carlberg, who muscled his front-wheel-drive Peugeot 208 Rally4 to Open 2WD victory and a fine fifth overall – just 26.3 seconds… Read More →
